Are you a business owner that needs help with graphic design?
Maybe it’s outside of your budget to hire a professional designer?
Well, look no further because there is an online program that is sweeping the nation as an easy-to-use and it offers professional templates.

Disclaimer: This post contains affiliate links for Canva (a design tool I use every day and swear by). If you decided to purchase their services, I would receive a commission at no extra cost to you. This is an amazing way to show support for creators like me, thank you!
I was first introduced to this program year’s ago (when they started in 2012) and I haven’t looked back.
It was and still is a user-friendly platform and they are always adding new features. Plus it’s free to join!
What program am I referring to? It’s Canva!

I used it for social media posts, logos, posters, you name it.
There is a free version, but when you upgrade to Canva Pro, you receive access to so much more.

How to design in Canva?
First, you want to log in to your Canva account.
I always start by selecting the template you are looking for.
For example, do you want to design an Instagram Post, Facebook Cover, or create custom dimensions.

In this example, I chose an Instagram Post. Once I click it, a blank template will open for me.

Along the left hand side, you will see a bunch of templates to select from.
Some are animated, while others are regular graphics. These templates are a great way to assist in designing a professional look for your brand.
Why use Canva to design?
There are SO MANY reasons to use Canva! Let me share:
- It’s FREE
- User-friendly
- Access to so many images and templates
- Always adding new images and templates
- Can export to various formats
- Now can schedule to social media platforms
