When you start a new website with WordPress, it can be overwhelming.
You are learning new features and the ins and outs of WordPress Plugins.
Very early on I learned what plugins were and how amazing they could be to enhance your website with visuals and functionality you didn’t know existed.
Below I’ve listed what I believe are the Top 10 WordPress Plugins:
- Yoast SEO – This is by far one of my favourite plugins. Yoast SEO will guide you in improving your website SEO by giving you the red, yellow, or green light based on your content.
- UpdraftPlus – Backing up your website is extremely important so you do not lose your valuable work. Some hosting providers offer a complimentary back-up, but if they don’t, I suggest this plugin.
- TinyMCE Advanced – This plugin extends your toolbar in WordPress so you can easily access formatting functions for posts or pages.
- W3 Total Cache – Basically this plugin is going to speed your page load times, which will improve SEO and the visitors’ experience.
- Cookie Notice for GDPR & CCPA – Notify your visitors that your site uses cookies with this plugin. It’s simple to use and you can customize the message.
- Smash Balloon Social Photo Feed – If you have an Instagram account and want to display your feed on your website, this is the plugin for you.
- WooCommerce – If you are looking to set-up a store online and sell, this plugin is for you.
- Contact Form by WPForms – A great tool to drag and drop the online form you create. Simply add this custom created form to your contact page.
- Wordfence Security – Firewall & Malware Scan – Protect your website from malicious traffic.
- Yoast Duplicate Post – Clone your blog posts so you can keep the same styling and format. This is such a great plugin that will reduce the time it takes to recreate a post from scratch each time.
